The Border Guard discovered a suspected organized gang involved in manufacturing various documents including passport, driving license and identity card, said a press release issued by the Border Guard on Wednesday.

The members of the gang also found to sell the fake documents online and social media sites. At least three people, including a Finnish woman and two men from Cameroon are involved in the activities.

One of the men lives in Finland and rest one lives in Cameroon while the Finnish woman helped to transfer money earned from selling the counterfeit documents along with the man living in Finland, Border Guard suspected.

The main suspect is involved in at least 12 cases related to selling counterfeit documents were and data and photos of four fake documents were found in his phone, said the Border Guard.

The Border Guard in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation completed the preliminary investigation and forwarded the case to the Prosecutor Office of Western Finland. The Prosecutor Office will take further course of action in this regard.
